Dangermouse Baron Greenback, a toad, planned to take over the world (I'll scream if I come across this sort of circumstance again this year). The world's only hope was Dangermouse, a one-eyed white mouse who lived in a postbox in Mayfair. His only accomplice being Penefold, a fat hamster in a suit, whom umpteen school headmasters have since been named after. This cartoon, narrated by David Jason (delboy) contained plenty of action and jokes, and was a real classic. I feel priviledged to have seen it. KIDS' PROGRAMMES OF THE 1980S PAGE
