Kids' programmes of the
1980s
They form our earliest and fondest
memories. They influence our later behaviour. So
here is your chance to reminisce over the
programmes you watched as a child in the 1980s,
a golden age for kids' telly. Before the days of
Teletubbies, Tweenies and Teenage Mutant Hero
Turtles, our screens were full of good quality
programmes which inspired a whole generation. I
have included reviews of a wide range of
programmes, their history and pictures from
these programmes. Just click below on the ones
you are interested in. Although this section is
primarily concerned with programmes of the
1980s, there is always the possibility that a
small few of the programmes featured were from
the early Nineties or even the Seventies. These
programmes are all ones which I remember
watching, and were as much a part of my
education as school was (if not more). So, allow
