The Raccoons
 
Set in the Evergreen Forest. Characters included: the rich, but mean, Cyril Sneer, who was a pink creature with a long nose who often smoked cigars; his son, Cedric Sneer who looked similar but was a lot nicer; three pigs who worked for Cyril Sneer; the Raccoons themselves, the main one being Burt, who was young and energetic, and also a forest ranger, his two children and their two dogs.
The Raccoons were enemies of Cyril Sneer and would often try to stop him from taking over the forest. Cyril Sneer always wished that the Raccoons would move away from the forest and saw them as nuisances.
The Raccoons was shown in Britain on Saturday morning in about 1989-1991, having been imported from America. It was a nice cartoon with theme tunes that could have almost topped the charts. It has been repeated on BBC1 and BBC2 as recently as 2001.
